ICTSA Boat Trip

ICTSA is hosting a Summer Boat Trip for interested students and friends on Saturday 7th August. The trip will start from Marfa ( Transport available ), and take us around Comino and Gozo throughout the day. There will be FREE wine and water onboard, with an optional buffet lunch for those interested.


All this comes at a low price of 20 euros! This includes:

  • The trip itself from 10am to 5pm
  • Free Wine and Water all day
  • Swimming stops at various locations

 

You also have the option of booking a buffet ticket for lunch costing 8 euros. We advise those not opting for this buffet to bring a packed lunch as we have 7 hours on board

ICTSA Statute 2010-2011

We at ICTSA had to have the EGM earlier than usual this year. The AGM used to be held in Summer but since majority of the team are final year students, ICTSA had to face an early change. There weren't much changes in the statute, it was more or less refined but the team is having a change for sure. Lisa Young is now president of ICTSA while Luke Buttigieg and Maria Refalo retained their core executive positions. Oleksiy Pilyugin is now the new academic officer so if you have any issues regarding University, please consult with him. You can see the rest of the members' positions in the Team Page which will be updated shortly.

Programming Competition 2010

programsmallOnce again ICTSA is hosting the Annual Programming Competition. This year the competition is set to be bigger than last years, expecting more students to join, as well as the inclusion of a separate category for industry teams.

The competition will be held on the weekend of 26th to 28th of February, with a registration fee of €20 per team. The closing date for registrations is 25th February. Student teams are eligible for a 1st prize of €250 and 2nd prize of €150. Industry teams will be competing for trophies.

campussmallThe 7th iteration of Campuslan will be held NEXT WEEKEND 19-21 February at the Common Room at University!

The price of the LAN will be ONLY €10 so we urge you to come and have fun and bring your friends along. We will be having set tournaments over the weekend for Call of Duty 4, FIFA 10 and Quake 3, and we can play any multiplayer games you wish to play provided enough people want to play them. The theme of CampusLAN will as always be TO HAVE FUN and not to compete (although I admit, winning is fun as well )

poster2They're finally over ladies and gentlemen! After weeks of slaving over books and answering past papers, we're finally free! Most probably a lot of you have already started their end of exam sessions but we've got a party for you to end the weekend stress reliever!

Come join us at ICTSA End of Exam Party at Qube from 9:30pm onwards. Lets end the weekend with a great party and drinking session before you end up starting semester 2!
